Ampersand is inspired by the unfettered, the weirdos, and the beauty of ease found in nature. 

We conceptualize unique, organic, and inspiring weddings + events for awesome people.

Our penchants include an obsession with site-specific installations, color, + working in tandem within the seasonal botanical ebb and flow.

Wedding + Event Design has been a passion of mine right from the beginning.

In fact, Ampersand was luckily booked for several weddings even before the flagship retail location first opened in 2014 — it’s been a love affair ever since.

While the retail space is now primarily shepherded by our staff of talented designers, the wedding + event design portion of Ampersand is led exclusively by the creative direction of Emerson, and is supported both logistically + with the brawn of Benjamin. Ampersand’s approach towards floral designs and special occasions starts with the vibe you’re hunting for, followed by the spacial energy of the event location, influenced by an obsession with color (yes, white + green is totally a color which is adored here), and is fundamentally seasonally rooted in a deep love for a wide variety of botanicals and the natural world.

Ampersand is dedicated to lower the environmental impact of what we do as much as possible, which includes sourcing as many locally grown materials as possible, offering a rental program for our vessels, reusing mechanics whenever possible, and of course being floral foam free ever since inception (fyi: floral foam is not biodegradable— yikes!). Three cheers for the ultimate inspiration, Mother Earth! You go girl.

With every event, I hope to stir as much creativity + uniqueness while conceptualizing the design concepts, finding ways to make floral designs as an integral part to the holistic vision of the event.

However, trust is at the very heartbeat of what Ampersand is. It is with your trust that fuels Ampersand to make your event singularly spectacular.
